Does the QR code expire?
Direct QR codes store information in the code itself. An image information QR opens a page hosted on GadgetPickLab. You can update that page while keeping its QR link; hiding the page makes its link unavailable.
Can someone read the password in a Wi-Fi QR?
Yes. The network name and password are encoded in the image. Share it only with people who should have access to that network.
How can I make the QR easier to scan?
Use shorter content, dark QR colors and a small logo. For photo art, reduce image visibility if scanning is difficult. Downloads are enabled after an automatic scan check. Keep the white border and test the saved image with your phone before printing or sharing.
How can I use my own image?
Add a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB and 24 megapixels. Blend it into the QR pattern in color or black and white, place it in the center, use it as a card background, or apply its colors. Adjust visibility and crop for photo art. Images stay in your browser. SVG exports embed the photo as a bitmap.
