GIF Maker & Editor
Create and edit GIFs, or extract their frames as PNG images.
Choose an image → Adjust → Save
How to use it
- Load one GIF or several still photos. Review the timeline and select the frames you need.
- For animation, set dimensions, timing and loop options; preview before creating the GIF.
- For still output, select a frame and extract its PNG, or save all current frames as a ZIP and extract it.
Before you start
One GIF up to 20 MB, 200 frames and 24 million pixels across frames, or up to 20 photos. Output is limited to 1600 px per edge and 24 million frame pixels. GIF uses up to 256 colors and one-bit transparency; colors may change. Very short source delays are normalized to 100 ms.
Common questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The files are processed in this browser and are not sent to an image processing server.
What should I check before saving?
Check the preview, output dimensions and format. JPG fills transparent areas with the chosen background color. Download your result before closing this page.
Using this tool
Use the frame and timing controls to prepare a short animation. Preview it before exporting and check the downloaded GIF in your intended app.
What to check
GIF uses a limited color palette. Large animations take more memory and may process slowly on phones; keep the dimensions and frame count practical.

A practical workflow
Decide whether you need an animated GIF or separate PNG frames. Animation controls such as trimming and speed affect a new GIF; frame extraction is a separate workflow for obtaining still scenes.
Why do GIF colors and transparent edges change?
GIF has a limited palette and binary transparency, so photographic gradients and semi-transparent edges can change. Reopen the saved animation to check timing and disposal. Extracted PNGs are still images; they do not carry animation playback or a soundtrack.
