Before you start
JPEG and WebP use lossy compression. Some images may not become smaller; the result shows the actual file size.
Common questions
Why is the result sometimes larger?
An already optimized image can become larger when re-encoded. Compare the actual sizes shown after processing. Try WebP or a lower quality setting, and check that the result still looks good.
Can I get an exact file size such as 100 KB?
This version lets you choose the output format and quality, but does not guarantee an exact byte size. Lower the quality or use Image Resizer to reduce the dimensions first.
